Supporting We Are Beams
We Are Beams is a charity that has been supporting disabled children and their families for over 30 years.
Founded in 1996 by a group of parents seeking better opportunities and support for their children, Beams has grown from a small, parent-led initiative into an essential community service. Today, the charity provides practical help, guidance, and respite for families who need it most, helping to improve everyday life in meaningful ways.
We are proud to be supporting their work and raising awareness of the services they provide as they mark 30 years of impact in the community.
London to Brighton Charity Ride
As part of this support, James, the owner of J R Financial Solutions, is taking on the London to Brighton cycle ride to raise funds for We Are Beams.
“I’ve signed up for the London to Brighton ride to raise money for We Are Beams, a brilliant charity supporting disabled children and their families. They give parents the breathing space, guidance, and practical help that can genuinely change day-to-day life. It’s a cause that deserves every bit of support it can get, so I’m putting the miles in and hopefully raising some money along the way. If you can spare anything to help me reach my target, it would mean a lot. Thank you for backing me (and my legs!).”
This challenge is a personal fundraising effort and is not part of the regulated financial services provided by J R Financial Solutions.
